    Watching Dawn Anna

It was 2 o’clock in the morning, and I was still awake.

I was checking whether there was new e-mail, thread from plurk, twitter, or not (actually,it was just a reason not to go to bed soon).

And then suddenly there came the movie in television.

When I first saw the title “Dawn Anna” I didn’t expect much because I never heard that title, and I thought that maybe that movie was another B movie.

Yeah, maybe it was, but when I saw this movie, I felt soooo… I didn’t know, happy+sad, because this movie really was a kind of paradoxial movie.

This is a story of a happy family consists of a single mother & four children. At first, the mother is just a mom with no job. She takes care of everything at home. She fulfills all her children needs. She schedules everything so every days will be a good days.

But one day she get a job as a teacher. She loves her job. Then in school she met a man who’s gonna be her future husband. He offers a job as a volleyball teacher. Because she was a volleyball athlete when she was in highschool, she accepts the job.

So now, everyday she must completes two jobs. At first, it was fun. But, then she collapsed, and has to be taken to hospital.

Unfortunately, what she did everyday leads her to a severe disease attacking her brain. And after being in a surgery, she wasn’t the same Anna as before.

She now has to learn for walk, talk, remembering things. But she can go through it all with the help from her children, and her future husband.

Then it comes the happiness again when she was proposed, while at the same time, so is her daughter (It was a happy moment & I was crying to see that).

But then sadness come again when 5 years later, her youngest daughter is killed in a massacre in Columbine High School (yes, it was a massacre which was filmed so well by Michael Moore in Bowling for Columbine).

It breaks everyone hearts (and my heart, too). But then the mother is stand out as one of the victim’s family and she goes all the way around to tell people about how’s important to keep the children safe at school.

This movie was based on true story about the massacre in Columbine High School.
