My Name is Khan
It was such an amazing experience watching this movie. Especially when you walked into the cinema without any expectation of how great this movie would be.
And this movie was incredible!
It lingers in my heart until now because the story told us about humanity. About helping people without payment, chasing your dreams even there are lots of obstacles, and of course about letting go our anger and move on. It was amazing how they pictured letting go the anger with releasing balloons. So sweet.
One of unforgettable part is when Rizvan was at the church for praying for Mama Jenny’s child who died in Iraqi War, and he started to tell a story about Sameer, his stepson, who was killed because people thought he was a terrorist. And then people sang the song that Rizvan used to sing with Kajol (sorry, I forgot her name in this movie). My tears suddenly went down like a waterfall. Because it was just like, oh my God, I have tried so much to not crying, but I couldn’t stand it anymore. Huffh….
Overall, I think it was the best hindi movie I’ve ever seen in my life. And of course this movie could fight with my other favourite movies. Because this movie has it all. The drama, comedy, lesson learned. Great job!!!!
